Based both in Ireland and in Belgrade, Serbia, I work as a freelance Documentary DP/Director and Photographer. 5 years ago I attended a ‘hostile environment’ training course in Kosovo in order to gain the skills needed to work in conflict zones, I have since worked in Ukraine, Gaza, the West Bank and covered the migration crisis routes through the Balkans. I have worked for National Geographic, BBC, Vice, France 24, RTe Ireland and NOS Holland.
My work varies from social to conflict to cultural and artistic. I like to explore new avenues and work with new people. I have spent 5 years in the Balkans so know the terrain well and recently have focused on Northern Ireland, Derry city in particular , due to Brexit anxieties.
I shoot on Canon equipment, a Canon C300 mark 2for professional 4K video with L series lenses and a 5D mark ii for stills.
I have emergency medical training (RISC)
