Not far from the Wailing wall I stumbled into this cafe where some Palestinian kids were getting kicks from this old arcade game. I used to love games like this myself at their age but something about Palestinian kids playing it in such proximity to the wailing wall struck me.
At first I wasn't sure how happy these guys would be to be snapped but upon asking, and them realising I was a foreigner they politely obliged. (Jerusalem, Israel 2013)
The Jewish quarter in Jerusalem at first seems ancient, but a closer look reveals it to be nearly brand new in many parts. Still, mainly because of the Orthodox inhabitants it feels like another era. They are generally relaxed to be photographed so I focused on wide shots generally. (Jerusalem, Israel 2013)
I'm not sure if they race them but they certainly keep them as pets. these guys were very proud of the white dove. (Jerusalem, Israel 2013)
